  • Check Your Bills.... CAREFULLY!

In Hong Kong, normally you would check your receipt after you shopped at supermarket, or finished a meal in restaurant.

And when you check your bill, you usually check if there are any extra un-paid items that was charged, or if the Price per Item was correct.

But fellas, take a good look at the bill shown below....

    Everything seems okay, except....

    45 + 36 + 65 + 68 + 98 + 88 + 8 + 68 + 42
    = $518!!! (not $548!!)

When complained to the restaurant, their response is that it is TECHNICAL ERROR, however, numerous reports stated that.... THIS MAY NOT BE THE FIRST TIME FOR THIS TO HAPPEN!

So next time, if you do check your bills.... be VERY careful.

Note: This restaurant - Golden Shanghai Cuisine - is located at Tsuen Wan. They also have branches at Tseung Kwan O & Sai Wan.

    =======

    别以為check單, 就不怕被人收多錢, 請看看上面的賬單有何不妥

    (這是餐飲業的普遍現象,相信我和您早已被無良酒樓餐廳害了多年。)

    45+36+65+68+98+88+8+68+42 = $518!!!

    賬單清楚列明每項收費,但係加埋總數竟然係多左$30, 仲再加一!一共多收$33!!!

    向侍應投訴 , 回應是電腦出錯(?!), 立即退回現金 $30; (仍多收$3加一)。

    消息透露,表示已知他們不是第一次如此,這是明顯是行騙。

    當質問侍應為何明知電腦有錯還不更正或用人手核對賬單才給客人 ,
    他們竟辯稱因不是每張單都會出錯, 所以不會人手核對賬單.
    (當然喇,銀碼少的賬單就不能多收, 以免露出馬腳。分明搏大霧! )

    當我要取走賬單時,他們便大為緊張, 說賬單不可取走, 要留作公司紀錄。

    客人怎會不許拿走賬單?

    大家記著forward給你的親朋戚友知道,
    除了這呢間在荃灣的某京川滬菜館外, 可能其他食肆或商舖亦有此行徑!

    小心小心!!

  • The Power of Facebook & Youtube

I have to say that, the internet is such a powerful place.

For those who owns a facebook account, and have significant number of friends on your list, you must have been involved in a "TAG GAME".  People began to tag their friends and identify the character they belong on these "photos"....

It was quite interesting when you were being tagged by your dear friends, but sooner or later, more than 50 "Facebook notification email" will be jammed in your email account, when people started to leave comments asking WHY being tagged.

Although it can be quite annoying, I have to admit that, you will still feel HAPPY being TAGGED by your friends, right????

But the most spectacular thing came from YOUTUBE!!! I watched two of the most hilarious videos ever, that I have to share with every of my friends....

    1) Crazy Women Misses Her Flight at HKIA
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i57IwNGu_qQ

I am sure many of you guys have watched this clip., but maybe less than half of you guys can really understand what that woman was saying, so I am here to provide you with English Subtitle.

For those who has not watched this clip, this is about a woman missing her flight to San Francisco at Hong Kong International Airport.....

I do think this was Spectacular already.... but wait.... today I received another one!

    2) Crazy Women Demanding her Shark Fin soup
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Im7W1AnDmgA

After the Woman Missed her Flight at HKIA, comes this lady, who's a little upset at being told she can't have shark fin soup, as no more sharks, thanks to humans killing too many, inc for shark fin soup.

Just for a laugh..... I am not trying to tell everyone that Hong Kong women are crazy, so I bring you another clip... to prove that sometimes, MEN can be crazy too!

Relax, they are DJs from CR903 (Commercial Radio FM 90.3), Sammy (森美) & Leo !!

  • Entering the 30 Club

It has been quite a long while since I wrote my blog! Sorry Monkey Big Tummy!! Life has been very fulfilling since I moved to my new apartment at the end of last year. My girl is treating me real nice, and my puppy (Ah Dick Dick) is just so adorable and entertaining, always keeping me busy.

February 17, 2009 -- It was the day that I finally become 30 years old. A very special day of mine! And I would really love to share this great moment with you all....

For all the gals, getting into the 30 Club could be nightmare; for all the guys, this can be a sign reminding you to listen to Jan Lamb's song "Male Group (男子組)"! *LOL* (if you don't know what I am talking about, ask your Hong Kong friends!)

On birthday, a lot of people may choose to get busy in organizing birthday parties to get jiggy with friends. But I've been through too many of my buddies' birthday party, that ended up having the birthday boy/girl to take care of the WHOLE bill afterwards. Nah nah nah.... not something I want to remember on my birthday.

So I was chilling at home, actually start napping 2 hours before midnight strike... until something happened....

12 midnight!!!! My dearest god-family called me, and say Happy Birthday to me. Of course my girlfriend woke me up to answer the phone, and gave me the sweetest birthday cheers (since earlier in the day, she already gave me my bday gift).

My friend was supposed to meet up with me & give me back my gal's iPhone after fixing it, but he sms me after 12mn, saying he got off work late and asked me to go down and meet up.

I left home, went down, chat a bit (make the long story short!).... when I returned home, the house was darken and I saw bday cake on my table in the living room, and my friends rushed out from the washroom!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was such a surprise because I seldom have birthday celebration, especially after returning to HK due to my busy working schedule. But this Surprise Birthday Bash was really great, and surprising too!!!!!!!!!

Thank you, Alan, Hazel, Salty Egg, Karen, and my love Nicole!!

But one more important thing I actually wanna share is that, after this great Birthday Bash, after my friends left.... I IMMEDIATELY CALLED MY MOM, and say THANKS to her for giving birth to me....

"THANK YOU MOM. I knew it must be very painstaking 30 years ago. And I wanna thank you with my heart for doing this to me, and for me! I LOVE YOU MOM!!!"

Thank you also to every of my dear friends, who left greetings on my Facebook... Blog... SMS... E-mail... I had a blast indeed. So memorable... !!!!!
